I love Trevor Hudson's writings. I have been to the church where he serves. His teachings are always great and truly help me connect to the Risen Jesus. This is a great book to read for Lent or for any 40 day retreat period though it is especially written for Lent reading!
This will be a wonderful, personal, daily companion on the journey through the 40 days of Lent. I am so pleased with this book that I will be ordering more for gifts for friends.
Great book for Lent. Quick, easy to digest chapter for each day of lent. A great way to direct your thoughts and reflect during Lent.
I used this book as the foundation for a Lenten study with some colleagues at work. We were a mixed group of orthodox, catholic, and protestant and it was a great way to bring us all together, without adding problematic theology.
This, one word a day devotional during Lent was very powerful and thought provoking in my morning study time! I purchased some extras to share next year with my family. I plan to re use it again next year. It would start off my morning journal and quiet time and get me focused! I wish I had 365 days of "words" to use ALL year.
